Our secret to surviving 150 years is constantly raising the bar and innovating. Our prime focus going forward is sustainability that is why we have launched our initiative Nizam One. It is our obsession to reimagine everything, making sustainability the number one objective. Nizam One is a holistic approach trying to become one with the earth and people.

Nizam One builds on our core values as an organization to commit change. We are driving this initiative not only from our values but also picking up our process map of: Input, Process, Output and People.

We are rapidly decarbonizing our operations through the expansion of solar power across our factories. Our commitments & achievements: Installed 190 MW of solar generation capacity across operations Annual reduction of 12,660+ tons of CO₂e Solar-powered facilities for tents, textiles, and blankets All new factories designed as green buildings This makes Nizam one of the cleanest and most energy-efficient large-scale humanitarian manufacturers in the world.

Water is one of Earth’s most precious resources especially in regions vulnerable to climate stress. We actively reduce, recycle, and optimize water use across all operations. Key initiatives: Nano-Bubble Technology: 95% less water in wash processes 71% reduction in chemicals 50% reduction in energy use Water Recycling Systems: RO-treated recycled water for boilers Reduced scale formation & improved efficiency Lower freshwater withdrawal Green design upgrades: Water-saving taps Efficient dyeing processes Reduced finishing steps By 2030, we aim to scale water reuse even further, targeting zero wastewater discharge at all major facilities.

Circularity is at the heart of Nizam One. We are pioneering environmentally responsible product design for the humanitarian sector. Our circularity achievements: Developed 100% recycled relief blankets (GRS-certified) Reduced raw material carbon footprint by 66% Reduced packaging footprint by 35% Working with Closed Loop Fashion, Alpinter, ShelterBox, and NED University to engineer: ✔ Recyclable tents ✔ Modular shelters ✔ Reduced environmental load designs Circular Product Design Priorities: Recycled & alternative materials Reinforced durability and longevity Easy disassembly Reuse of components on-site Reduced finishing chemicals Lower transportation emissions These innovations are being showcased at global humanitarian forums, including AidEx Geneva.

We source 100% of raw materials from certified suppliers and are building full traceability from farm to finished product through ERP-integrated systems.
